This session introduces a practical, trauma-aware approach to skin care that helps estheticians better understand what’s happening in the client’s nervous system during treatment.

You’ll learn how stress, trauma, and nervous system dysregulation can show up in the skin—and in client behaviour such as flinching, withdrawal, or inability to relax.

This is not about adding new techniques, or a new a facial. It’s about knowing how to respond safely, communicate clearly, and create a treatment environment where clients feel comfortable and supported.

You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your role, your scope of practice, and how to work with greater confidence when clients don’t respond as expected.
